Cooling boxes are applied in the food- , as well as in the automotive industry. In the food industry, they are mainly conventionally insulated for ice-production machines. During the production of the ice creams, these are dipped into liquid nitrogen one or more times.
In the automotive industry, engine parts are cooled with liquid Nitrogen. Like this the parts shrink, which makes it easy to install them. After warming them up, a strong shrink fitting arises. To keep the production process controllable, the parts are put into a cooling wheel at the heart of a vacuum insulated cooling box by robots. Nitrogen conditioning devices like phase separators, vacuum insulated piping and vacuum insulated cooling boxes with a cooling wheel are part of Demaco’s delivery.
